📍 Location & Parking

Q: Where are you located?

A: We are located in the heart of Kensington Market at 283 Augusta Avenue, Toronto. Look for The Thicket Lab sign!

Q: Is there parking nearby?

A: Yes. Since Kensington Market is a busy area, we recommend using the paid parking at Green P Carpark 68 (located at 20 St Andrew St / Kensington Ave), which is just a short walk from our studio.

Q: Do you accept walk-ins?

A: During our Soft Opening hours (1:00 PM - 8:00 PM), walk-ins are welcome for browsing and shopping DIY kits! However, for workshops, we highly recommend booking in advance to guarantee your seat, as space is limited.

🧶 Workshop Policies

Q: Do I need any experience to join a workshop?

A: Not at all! Our workshops are designed for complete beginners. Our instructors will guide you step-by-step, so you can leave with a finished piece you're proud of.

Q: What is your cancellation policy? 

A: We understand plans change!

  • Generally, we offer free rescheduling with 48 hours' notice. Since we prepare materials in advance, we do not offer monetary refunds. For full details on cancellations, lateness, and age requirements, please read our full [Workshop Policies].You can reschedule or receive a full refund.

  • Less than 48 hours notice: We cannot offer a refund, but you may transfer your spot to a friend.

Q: What happens if I am late?

A: Please try to arrive 5-10 minutes early to get settled. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you may miss critical instructions, and we might not be able to catch you up without disrupting the class.

🚐 Private Events & Mobile Workshops

Q: Can I book a private workshop for a birthday or team building?

A: Absolutely! We love hosting private parties. You can book a private session in our studio, or we can bring the Mobile Workshop to your location.

📦 Shipping & Returns

Q: Do you ship DIY Kits?

A: Yes! We ship across Canada & Us. You can also choose "Local Pickup" at checkout to pick up your order at our Kensington Market studio for free.

Q: Can I return a DIY Kit?

A: Unopened and unused DIY kits can be returned within 14 days of purchase. Please contact thethicketlab@gmail.com to start a return.
